Augsburg, view from Hotelturm Augsburg is the oldest and third largest city in Bavaria, Germany. This gigapixel image was shot in 2010 from the 115 m high Hotel Tower to the North and East. It shows the city center in great detail. In fact the high magnification was achieved by the use of a 700 mm lens and was unprecedented at its time.
